Leon Wolf: I get that deciding whether to run for president is a difficult decision; however, the presidency is a job of difficult decisions, and if it has legitimately taken Sarah Palin over two years to decide whether to even start the process of becoming president, then she is unfit for the job.
Ann Coulter on Fox News: You know, we used to all love Sarah Palin, conservatives like me, for her enemies. I'm starting to dislike her because of her fans. ... It's true that liberals will call even smart conservatives stupid. That doesn't mean that when a liberal calls you stupid it makes you smart.
Erick Erickson: Sarah Palin is a great person. She's a great fighter. She draws in awesome attention and rallies a crowd. She has some terrific and loyal supporters I don't want to lump in with the loud voices largely now disconnected from political reality. Ron Paul is the same way. But at some point, Sarah Palin has to take some responsibility for her supporters as Ron Paul must for his. Palin's dragging out the tease on her decision has compounded the problem and we've reached a breaking point.
Laura Ingraham on Fox News: Palin must "do a lot more of the heavy lifting to be taken seriously" than she seems interested in doing.
But John Hayward of Human Events defends Palin's tease as well as the Palinistas:
I suspect Palin herself would strongly maintain that the issues at hand are far larger than any single person, and would not be happy with those who say they will only participate in the 2012 elections if they can vote for her. She also wouldn't want the issues she cares about to be evaluated solely through personal admiration or disdain for her. ... Why are so many Palin fans dedicated to her, and why do they perceive so much of the criticism leveled at her from sources on the right as unfair? Because she's always out in front.
