FAIRBANKS-- The Alaska Native regional corporation for interior Alaska has named a new president and chief executive officer.
Doyon Ltd. announced Saturday that Aaron Schutt will be promoted.
Schutt has been working as Doyon's senior vice president and chief operating officer.
The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reported Schutt has been overseeing the company's subsidiaries in Alaska and in the Lower 48.
Schutt takes over Oct. 1 from Norman Phillips Jr., who announced his retirement earlier this month after 23 years with the corporation in a variety of positions.
