Location: Kink Valley, 9/27/11
First time I have seen lightening along with the Northern Lights. Quite a visual treat, for sure. Lightening must have been at least 15-20 miles away I would guess, as it seemed to be out near College Fjord, well out behind the Knik Glacier which can be seen in the center of the image.
