Troopers spokeswoman Megan Peters says people failing to heed the signs in the corridors face $110 tickets.
Outside of the corridors, drivers face $50 tickets for failing to use headlights in areas with signs noting the required use of headlights. They also face $50 tickets for not following a state law requiring headlights to be used on roads between a half hour before sunset and a half hour after sunrise.
The corridors are on the Seward Highway between mileposts 87 and 117; Sterling Highway between mileposts 83 and 93; Parks Highway between mileposts 44.5 and 53 and a stretch of Knik-Goose Bay Road.
