The Anchorage Convention and Visitors Bureau says it's hosting meeting planners from 13 states and a Canadian province to present Alaska's largest city as a destination for meetings.
The bureau says 22 participants are part of its Fall Meeting Planner Familiarization tour, which runs through Saturday. The bureau hosts three meeting planner tours each year.
Meeting planners will visit convention centers and popular attractions.
The bureau says the participants represent groups that could bring more than $8 million in meeting business to Anchorage.
