OAKLAND, Calif. -- Authorities at Oakland, Calif.'s airport are investigating a bomb threat against an Alaska Airlines flight from Seattle.

Oakland International Airport spokeswoman Joanne Holloway says someone gave a handwritten note about a bomb aboard Alaska Airlines Flight 342 to a representative at nearby San Francisco International Airport. Officials there contacted authorities.

The plane landed safely around 8 a.m. Monday and was moved to a remote area of the airport. About 150 passengers were evacuated, and bomb-sniffing dogs inspected luggage on the tarmac.

Alaska Airlines spokeswoman Bobbie Egan says that no bomb was found on the plane, and baggage is going through additional security screening.

The flight had been bound for Oakland and arrived about 15 minutes ahead of schedule.
