Air National Guard airlifts injured hunter

A 67-year-old man was flown to Anchorage after fracturing his shoulder while hunting.

According to a release from the Alaska Air National Guard, a helicopter picked up the man late Thursday night about 20 miles west of Delta Junction.

The unidentified hunter was flown to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, and then transported to an Anchorage hospital by ambulance.
