Alaskan Artisans and Crafters Faire

10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, American Legion Post 35 VFW, Mile 46 Parks Highway. There will be 35-plus vendors with a wide assortment of arts, crafts and baked goods. Fur hats and mittens, seed bead jewelry, goat milk soaps, crocheted hats and bands, fabric adornments and much more. Vendors include Alaska Spirit Crafts, Celtic Ravenz Jewelry, Far North Soaps, Arctic Frost Jewelry, Heidi Ruth Designs, Paula's Prettys, Summit Crafts, Scraptique, Unique Alaskan Gifts, Michebag, Adornments by Amanda, Amanda Wilson Crafts, Blown Egg Creations, Scentsy and more. Valley Artist Guild's Arts and Craft Bazaar

10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, Wasilla Senior Center. La Fiesta and their catering wagon will be on-site. The Salvation Army Mat-Su Valley Corps Fall Home League Bazaar

10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, The Salvation Army, 209 W. Evergreen Ave. in Palmer. We will have several vendors, homemade crafts, baked goods and lunch for shoppers to purchase. Moose Track Co-Op's Artist Trunk Show

10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and noon-5 p.m. Sunday, 340 N. Lucille St., Wasilla. Featuring Alaska Chics, Alaska Transplant, Heirloom Creations, Bear Wood Studio, Knitting by Jackie and much more. Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Arts & Crafts Bazaar

10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, 501 E. Bogard Road, Wasilla. The bazaar features 45 vendors selling quality handmade crafts, wood products, fiber arts, jewelry and baked goods. Door prizes, too. Annual November Out of the Box Sale

Mat-Su Holiday Marketplace

10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, Curtis Menard Memorial Sports Center, 1001 S. Mack Drive. See the goodies from more than 110 mini specialty shops with thousands of gift ideas. We have local and statewide artists, craftsman, photographers, fiber and clay artists displaying antler carvings, botanical syrups, fleece outerwear, pottery tableware, jewelry, iron work, original artwork, handmade soap, head-to-toe fur, Native Alaskan dolls, Christmas ornaments, candles, specialty foods, metal sculptures, stained glass and much more. Talkeetna's St. Bernard's Catholic Church Holiday Bazaar

10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Sheldon Arts Hangar, downtown Talkeetna. Local crafts, beads, pottery and more unique creations along with lunch. Baked goods will be on sale. Booths are available for $30 and must be paid in advance of the bazaar.(Anita Pickielnok, 733-2884)

TOPS Holiday Bazaar

10 a.m.-5 p.m., Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bogard and Peck roads. Look for 22 tables at the old Catholic Church building. Ivory carving, jewelry, Tupperware and homemade crafts of all kinds.

Upper Susitna Senior Holiday Bazaar

10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Saturday, Mile 98.2 Parks Highway on Helena Drive. Get a jump on your Christmas list with more than 25 vendor tables, silent auction, bake sale and homemade soups and bread. (Sindi Clark, 495-1346)

Holiday Bazaar

9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Sacred Heart Church, 1201 E. Bogard Road. See handmade quilts, table runners, aprons and many more hand-crafted items including baskets, baked goods and gifts for youngsters.

Annual Holiday Bazaar

11 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Palmer Train Depot, 610 S. Valley Way. The Women's Ministry of Palmer Church of the Nazarene hosts this bazaar. SThere are a limited number of spaces available: back wall, $55, hall or center of room, $45; table rental, an extra $5. All bazaar-goers are encouraged to visit our range of vendors and play free blackout booth bingo to be entered in a drawing for a $25 gas card. (Bazaar message line, 746-0261)

Colony Christmas

Palmer bazaar features five craft fairs with 200 vendors, a parade, a triathlon, reindeer sleigh rides and horse-drawn carriage rides plus photos with Santa. The craft fairs are at the Borough gym, the Palmer Depot, the Alaska Job Corps Center, the Palmer Senior Center and Matanuska Christian School. The depot fair is 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday. All the rest are scheduled for Saturday only. (palmerchanber.org)
