Wolfe takes pro bodybuilding title

Anchorage's Shawn Wolfe picked up his second victory as a pro and open-division victories went to Steve Dunn of Anchorage and Melanie Redington of Wasilla in Saturday's Anchorage Pro-Am Natural Bodybuilding, Fitness and Figure Championships at the Williamson Auditorium. Novice women figure -- 1) Ardrienna Everett, 2) Lanet Spence. Bikini -- 1) Kristen Kinttz, 2) Kayla Youngs, 3) Charlotte Mahoy, 4) Mariah Mahoy. Open women -- 1) Melanie Redington, 2) Esther Twomey. Novice men -- 1) James Luna, 2) Chris Santos, 3) Andrew Kappier. Masters men (over 40) -- 1) Rodney Wild, 2) Mark Johnson, 3) Cecil Martin, 4) Martin Guerrero. Lightweight men -- 1) Steve Dunn, 2) Ian Leach. Pro natural men -- 1) Shawn Wolfe, Anchorage; 2) Robert Green, Wichita, Kan.; 3) Walter Barr, Manhattan, Kan., 4) Johnny Hurley, Lexington, S.C. Women's best poser -- Redington. Men's best poser -- Leach.
