Service and Soldotna head into the state football playoffs as the state's top-ranked teams, positions they've held much of the season. Service (7-0-1 overall) is No. 1 among the state's large schools and Soldotna (8-0) tops the rankings of medium-sized and small schools in the Alaska Sports Broadcasting Network's final poll of the season.

Large schools --
1)Service (7-0-1),
2) Wasilla (6-2),
3) Juneau-Douglas (7-1);
4) tie, West Valley (6-2) and South (6-2).
Also receiving votes -- Chugiak.
Medium-small schools --
1) Soldotna (8-0),
2) Homer (7-1),
3) Nikiski (7-1),
4) Barrow (7-1);
5) tie, Monroe (5-3) and Kenai 4-4.
