Eagle River 13, Chugiak 12, OT

Gabi Mordini scored on a 10-yard run in overtime and then caught a point-after conversion pass from Lauren Frost to power Eagle River past Chugiak 13-12 in a CIC game Monday.

Chugiak answered with an option play that took the Mustangs into the end zone, but their effort to go for a two-point conversation and the win was foiled by Scout Warners, who broke up the play at the 2-yard line.

Skylar Metzel led the Wolves' defensive effort with a first-half interception.
