Miles Knotek was the fastest among males and Audrey Michaelson topped the females at the USA Track and Field Alaska Klondike Advertising state championships Wednesday.

Knotek finished the 5-kilometer race at Anchorage Christian schools in 16 minutes, 54.6 seconds, running in the division for boys 15-16. Michaelson clocked 18:48.80 in the division for girls 17-18.
