Mollie Matthis racked a double-double Friday in Chugiak's 25-18, 25-14, 25-14 victory over East in a CIC match at Chugiak.

Matthis finished with 15 assists, 13 digs and seven kills. Bailee Hughes also had a strong all-around match for the Mustangs with 16 digs, five kills and two service aces.

Christina Pili led East with a double-double -- 13 assists, 13 digs -- and Xalina Gonzalez chipped in six kills.

Dimond 3, Bartlett 0

A trio of Dimond players contributed four kills apiece in a 25-7, 25-15, 25-16 triumph over Bartlett in a Cook Inlet Conference volleyball match Friday at Bartlett.

Kristi Lauwers, Leah Swiss and Sierra Ofao each tallied four kills for the Lynx, who also got 13 digs from Lauwers and seven by Swiss.

Bartlett was led by Brianna Egger, who had four kills and one block.

Eagle River 3, West 0

Gabbi LeCates furnished six aces and three blocks in Eagle River's sweep of West in a Friday night CIC match at Eagle River.

Also contributing for the Wolves in the closely contested 25-18, 25-21, 25-19 match were Lexie Curtis (7 kills), Kathy Michalski (5 kills) and Eyna Chacon (13 digs).

Grace 3, Nikiski 0

Heather Green's eight kills and seven aces helped Grace Christian remain undefeated in conference play Friday with a 25-15, 25-12, 25-19 win over Seward in Southcentral Conference action in Seward.

Other leaders for the Grizzlies, who are 7-0 in league, were Nicole Weisenfelder (7 kills, 15assists), Brandi Caylor (6 kills) and Brooke Leadbetter (5 kills, 3 aces).
