No illnesses have been reported.

The salads were sold under the brands of Fresh Selections, HEB, Marketside and Taylor Farms Field Greens.

The Department of Environmental Conservation says salmonella can cause serious or fatal infections in people with weak immune systems such as young children or frail or elderly people.

Healthy people infected by salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea or nausea.

UJC codes and best buy dates of the recalled bagged salad blends can be found online at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration website.
