Randolph won the other three individual events to claim all-around honors with 36.5 points, beating Newhouse by a comfortable 2.3-point margin. While South took a big win in the team competition, Chugiak narrowly defeated Dimond for second place in the three-team meet.

Sheasley wins duel

West's Jenny Sheasley won a tight battle with Bartlett's Cara Cloud to capture the all-around victory Friday in a CIC gymnastics meet at West.

Sheasley won the floor exercise and uneven parallel bars en route to an all-around score of 30.9 points, which gave her a slim win over Cloud, who won thebalance beam and vault and finished with 30.05 points.
