Dimond and West Valley both went undefeated in pool play Friday to advance to the Gold Division bracket in the Dimond-Service volleyball tournament.

The top three teams in each of four pools advanced to Gold Division at Dimond, where the championship match is scheduled for 5 p.m. The bottom two teams in each pool advanced to the Silver Division at Service; that championship match is at 1:30 p.m.

The tournament features 20 teams from across the state. The first matches begin today at 9 a.m., with all Gold Divison matches at Dimond and all Silver Division matches at Service.

A pool -- Dimond, Valdez, Soldotna to Gold Division; Kenai, North Pole to Silver Division. B pool -- West Valley, Nome, Eagle River to Gold Division; Homer, Grace Christian to Silver Division. C pool -- Service, Wasilla, Juneau to Gold Division; Nikiski, Bartlett to Silver Division. D pool --Skyview, Lathrop, East to Gold Division; Seward, Chugiak to Silver Division.
