Hang Penn State's 'perverted' ex-coach, Palin says (video)

Published: November 16, 2011

Lynch mob, anyone? Sarah Palin told Fox News last night that Jerry Sandusky, the former Penn State coach charged with child sex abuse, should "hang ... from the highest tree. I'll bring the rope." When reminded by Fox host Greta Van Susteren that Sandusky hasn't yet been convicted of a crime, she amended her comments to apply "if he is truly guilty." Palin said the Penn football team shouldn't be punished for the alleged sins of coaches by being banned from playing a postseason bowl game. Read more at the Los Angeles Times.

Palin also discussed the GOP presidential contenders, including the harassment allegations against Herman Cain, whom she encouraged to be truthful. Below is her entire 16-minute Fox interview; the Penn State comments come near the end. Find a transcript here.
