KTOO reported that Arne Fuglvog will now be sentenced Feb. 7 in U.S. District Court in Anchorage. This is the second delay from the original Nov. 18 sentencing date. Both requests to change the date have come from the defense.

Fuglvog pleaded guilty in August to falsely reporting where he caught sablefish intended for interstate commerce.

Fuglvog entered a plea agreement that recommends he be sentenced to 10 months in prison, fined $50,000 and ordered to make a "community service payment" of $100,000 to the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation to enhance fisheries habitat in the coastal areas of the Gulf of Alaska. He has been free on his own recognizance.
