"I've called Ronnie Chalmers and they called all the players today," said Buddy Bailey of Alaska Hoops, Inc. "The training camps can't start until Dec. 9, so all the players are still committed. We definitely breathed a big sigh of relief."
Bailey -- who set up the exhibition game with the help of Chalmers, the dad of Miami Heat guard and former Bartlett High star Mario Chalmers -- said about 4,000 tickets have already been sold. All the $150 courtside tickets were sold in about 10 minutes, and most of the other premium seating is gone as well.
"There are still some great seats left," Bailey said.
Expected to suit up are Alaska's only two NBA players -- Chalmers and Juneau's Carlos Boozer, who plays for the Chicago Bulls. Chris Bosh of the Heat and Michael Beasley of the Minnesota Timberwolves are also on the list of players who have agreed to participate.
