Anchorage airport has a new chief for police, fire

Alaska's largest airport has a new police and fire department chief.

The Alaska Department of Transportation said Jesse Davis will take over the job at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport.

KTVA-TV reported Davis has more than 15 years experience with the department.

He has been an instructor for police, fire and medical staff.

He also was a project manager for the airport disaster exercises.
