SUTTON -- The Sutton Library is closer to getting a $60,000 donation.
The Matanuska-Susitna Borough in a release says BP Alaska has donated $50,000 to the library, and Friends of the Sutton Library has raised another $10,000 to fund the community meeting room.
The release says the room will be named for BP Alaska.
The borough assembly will consider an ordinance in January to earmark the donation for the Sutton Library and Resource Center project.
