FAIRBANKS -- A lawyer for former U.S. Senate candidate Joe Miller will question employees of the Fairbanks North Star Borough about the release of personnel records.
Miller alleges a borough employee told the media that Miller was ineligible to be rehired before that information became public record through a lawsuit.
The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reports that Miller had worked for the borough as a part-time lawyer and was reprimanded for using computers for political work.
The depositions are expected to occur early next year. Borough Attorney Rene Broker will answer questions, along with two assistant attorneys and three other workers.
Miller beat incumbent Sen. Lisa Murkowski in the 2010 Republican primary but lost in the general election after Murkowski mounted a successful write-in campaign.
