The rewards are for the arrest and conviction of the person or people behind the September killing of the moose near the remote community of Ferry.
Troopers say a local miner provided the gold as an additional incentive. Gold is trading on commodities markets for $1,600 an ounce.
The money is offered by the Alaska Fish and Wildlife Safeguard, a nonprofit focused on the state's fish and game resources.
The moose's carcass, which had a 45-inch rack, was found by a hunter, who notified wildlife troopers in Cantwell.
