Vernon Pate has joined HDL's geotechnical engineering group as an engineering technician. He oversees material testing in the material testing laboratory and provides technical support for HDL's materials testing, transportation, geotechnical and hydrology work.
Joining the transportation group is engineering technician Heather Benton. She assists with highway and roadway design projects.
Aaron Havel and Corey Roche have joined the civil engineering group as engineers-in-training. Havel provides engineering support for storm water management, transportation engineering, bulk fuel and airport design, and water resources engineering work. Roche has four years of large-scale civil construction experience and provides engineering support on bulk fuel and remote civil projects.
Joining the transportation group is engineer-in-training Katherine Lauver. Lauver assists with highway and roadway design.
• Tim Ridenour and Molly Logelin of RIM Architects have earned the status of Revit Architecture 2012 Certified Professionals. This certification is an industry-recognized credential that affirms their skills and knowledge of Autodesk Revit 2012, the leading Building Information Modeling software tool. Also, Sterling Strait passed the professional engineering exam for civil engineering in Alaska. Strait holds a Masters of Civil Engineering degree from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
