The UAA women scored 102 points in Friday's event, good for a two-way tie for second with Montana State. The UAA men's team took fifth in a 10-K freestyle with a combined 83 points.
Laura Rombach and Steffi Hiemer each scored points for the UAA women, finishing in 11th and 14th respectively. Lukas Ebner led the UAA men with a 10th-place finish, Lasse Molgaard-Nielsen was 13th and Nevio Zeni took 17th.
The Seawolves sit in fifth place overall with 526 points, trailing New Mexico (548) by 22. Utah leads the nine-team event with 702 points.
The event concludes today with men's and women's classical races.
