The effort marked the second straight day on the podium for Bronga -- she finished second in Friday's skate race -- and her second career victory.
The Anchorage senior set the pace in 31 minutes, 53 seconds and claimed a comfortable win over Rombach, a senior from Germany whose time of 32:22.2 earned was worth the highest finish of her career. UAA senior Steffi Hiemer placed eighth.
In the men's 15-K race, sophomore Lasse Molegaard-Nielsen led the Seawolves with a seventh-place finish, clocking 41:10.2. Sophomore Lukas Ebner was 14th and freshman Zeni Nevio 17th.
The strong showing vaulted the Seawolves from fifth place to third place in the team standings with 741 points. Utah won the team title with 896 points and defending NCAA champion Colorado was second with 872.
Meanwhile, the UAA alpine team sits in third place in the Denver Invitational after Saturday's giant slalom at Winter Park, Colo.
The Seawolves landed three women in the top 11 -- senior Alex Parker (6th), freshman Anais Urbain (8th) and freshman Vanessa Berther (11th) -- and three men in the top 16 -- senior Andres Adde (6th), freshman Niko Harmanen (10th) and sophomore Christopher Kollenborg (16th).
Alpine competition continues today with a slalom race.
