Copter crashes during cold-weather testing

FAIRBANKS -- A Polish-built helicopter in Fairbanks for cold-weather testing crashed Sunday afternoon, and both people on board walked away without injuries, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

The incident happened at 2:23 p.m. at the Fairbanks International Airport, the FAA said. The helicopter is a PZL-SW4, the FAA said. The temperature at the airport was minus 36 degrees on Sunday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
