Seawolves gymnastics team finish third

The Seawolves (2-2), who were down to just seven gymnasts due to injury and illness, scored 185.9 points, getting a 37.025 in the all-around from freshman Jeanette Conrad.

Maryland, bolstered by Ally Krikorian's (38.8) second-place finish in the all-around, won the meet with 193.95 points, and Bridgeport finished second with 192.6.

For UAA's Doucette, it was the third straight meet she has set a career best in the all-around, helping her cause with a personal-best 9.775 on the floor exercise and placing fourth on vault with a 9.75.

The Seawolves will compete again Sunday in a tri meet against host Towson and William & Mary.
