Museum sets free day for holders of some bank cards

Starting Feb. 4, admission to the Anchorage Museum will be free on the first Saturday of each month for individuals with Bank of America and Merrill Lynch bank cards. The Anchorage Museum is the first Alaska museum to take part in the program. It joins a national list of about 150 participating organizations, including: the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Chabot Space and Science Center in Oakland, Calif., the Motown Museum in Detroit, the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, the Seattle and Tacoma art museums and the Houston Zoo.
