A big first quarter and an even bigger edge on the boards carried Dimond, which led 20-12 after the first eight minutes. The Lynx, who hit 60 percent of their shots, outrebounded Service 29-16.
Adam Klie topped Service with 16 points and Fairmang Touray added 12.
Bartlett 82, Eagle River 66
Trenton Anthony's 22 points propelled Bartlett past Eagle River 82-66 in a Friday CIC game at Bartlett. Treshawn King-Dunbar added 14 points and Iziah Sherman-Newsome 11 for the top-ranked Golden Bears.
Eagle River got strong efforts from Chris Parker (23 points) and Shaquan Rhoades (21), who were joined in double figures by Kevin Waterman (10).
Grace 67, Nikiski 49
Hans Karlberg fueled a big fourth quarter with 16 points to help Grace Christian pull away for a 67-49 win over Nikiski.
Karlberg, who finished with 27 points, hit three 3-pointers in the final quarter as the Grizzlies turned a tight game into a romp by outscoring Nikiski 30-14.
Lucas Herrin dropped in 21 points and Lincoln Johnson chipped in 17 for the Bulldogs, who were outscored 19-11 from the foul line.
Wasilla 64, Soldotna 55
Soldotna outscored Wasilla from the field but the Warriors claimed a 64-55 thanks to accuracy at the free throw line Friday in Wasilla.
Wasilla hit 20 of 24 free throws, with Braydon Kuiper hitting all 11 of his foul shots en route to a game-high 31 points. Soldotna was 9 of 14 from the line.
Connor Devine furnished Wasilla with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Evan Withrow's 17 points and Cory Carver's 10 led Soldotna.
Colony 79, Homer 44
Jared Turner scored all 13 of his points in the second quarter to put Colony in the lead for good Friday in the Knights' 79-44 home-court win over Homer. Hunter Eisenhower led all scorers with 19 for Colony.
West 85, South 79 OT
Marcus Ailey and Kendal Brown each sank four free throws in overtime to trigger West's 85-79 victory over South in a CIC thriller at South.
The teams battled to ties at the end of the first, second and fourth quarters. At the end of three quarters, South held a 54-53 lead. It was 72-72 at the end of regulation.
West landed five players in double figures -- Brown (15 points), Ailey (10), Christian Nidoy (16), Zion Bowser (14) and Asheme Cole (14).
South got double-doubles from Louis Page (28 points, 10 rebounds) and David Alston (12 points, 10 rebounds) plus 14 points from Grant Marciniak and 13 from Wade Ellis.
Houston 58, Kenai 56
Houston survived Kenai's fourth-quarter comeback Friday to grab a 58-56 boys basketball victory highlighted by Scott Kramer's 25 points, an effort that included four 3-pointers.
Kenai trailed 21-6 after one quarter and 47-37 after three but outscored the Hawks 19-11 in the final period to make things exciting.
A.J. Hull topped Kenai with 23 points, 11 of them in the fourth quarter.
