Alex Jackstadt scored four goals, three of them in a row, and assisted on two others in East's 9-1 rout of West in Cook Inlet Conference hockey action Friday at Ben Boeke Ice Arena. Jackstadt's natural hat trick came in the first period and gave the Thunderbirds a 5-1 lead. Conor Cleary put West on the scoreboard that period and John Chekan and Steven Butts scored East's other goals.
Christian Luiten assisted on two of East's three goals in the second period, setting up Tarini Tosi and Justin Beverlin on the power play, and Jacob Leguineche scored while the teams were skating four on four.
Jackstadt scored his fourth goal in the third period.
