Haley Holmstead lead the Seawolves with 24 points and Hanna Johansson contributed 21 points and a game-high 11 rebounds.

In each of its last five wins, 12-ranked UAA (19-3 overall, 10-1 GNAC) has won by at least 20 points, blowing out opponents by more than 30 in their last three games.

The Seawolves shot a solid 50 percent from the field Saturday while holding Central Washington (6-12, 3-8) to just 18.3 percent. That's Central Washington's lowest shooting percentage since it became an NCAA Division II team in 1999-2000.

The Seawolves won every major statistical battle, except rebounds, where they were outdone 41-39.

Central Washington, led by seven points apiece from Kelsi Jacobson and Annie Martinez, held a 5-3 lead in the game's opening minutes, but UAA quickly took over with a 19-0 run that put them up 22-3 with 11:06 to go in the first half.

The Seawolves hit their first seven shots and 11 of their first 12 to grab a 48-16 halftime lead. The 32-point gap was UAA's second-biggest halftime lead in a conference game, trailing only the 58-23 halftime lead they posted against UAF on Feb. 27, 2010.

Holmstead, a junior guard, scored 11 points in the first five minutes to top the 20-point mark for the seventh time this season.

Johansson, a senior center, racked her second straight double-double her ninth of the season.

Sasha King and Gritt Ryder combined for 12 points and 12 assists, with King sinking 2 of 4 from 3-point range and dishing seven assists.

The Seawolves, who hold a 21/2-game lead over Western Washington with seven games remaining, hit the road this week for games at Seattle Pacific on Thursday and Montana State-Billings on Saturday.
