UAA senior Hanna Johansson was instrumental in two big home wins for the Seawolves last week, and her 40 points and 27 rebounds helped her earn Co-Player of the week in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference. The 6-foot-2 center from Sweden recorded 19 points and 16 rebounds in a 79-39 win over Northwest Nazarene on Thursday and backed up the performance with 21 points and 11 rebounds against Central Washington on Saturday, helping the Seawolves to an 80-48 win.
Johansson's big statistics moved her to 18th on the all-time GNAC scorers list with 1,215 points and 16th on the list of top rebounders with 710.
Johansson will look to continue racking up the numbers when the eighth-ranked Seawolves hit the road this week for games against Seattle Pacific and Montana State Billings.
