Hines hit 12 of 21 shots and led the Lynx defense with four steals. Luke Adams pitched in 13 points for Dimond, which used a big second half to seal the win. The Lynx trailed by two after one quarter, pushed ahead by four by halftime and used a 16-5 run in the third quarter to pull away.
Shaquan Rhoades led Eagle River with 11 points.
Service 57, West 40
Getting 16 points from Adam Klie and 15 from Amu Aukusitino, the Service boys basketball team used a big second half to pull away in a 57-40 CIC win over host West on Tuesday.
The teams were tied 23-23 at halftime, but Service led 38-29 at the start of the fourth quarter. West, led by 15 points from Tyler Norman, suffered from ball-security issues, committing 34 turnovers.
West was also without leading scorer Kendal Brown, who missed the game due to a shoulder injury.
Bartlett 68, Chugiak 53
Jal Rial topped Bartlett scorers with 11 points Tuesday, and the Golden Bears stormed past host Chugiak 68-53 in a CIC boys basketball game.
Bartlett's Chris Gibson scored nine of his 10 points in the first half to help the Golden Bears build a 36-25 halftime lead, and Bartlett kept things rolling with a 19-11 run in the third quarter.
Chugiak's Marquis Spearman led all scorers with 12 points and Skyler Fullmer tossed in 11.
