From the article on Feb. 1 in which Elise Patkotak lauded Alaska Airlines for discontinuing their prayer cards:
She states she eventually got annoyed by them. Why? Did they suddenly take up too much room on her meal tray? Could she not just turn them over and enjoy her chicken sandwich? I question whether she ever even read them.
I did read them and remember how they made me smile. They reminded me to be thankful for what I have. Everyone could benefit from that, regardless of their religious beliefs. Did Ms. Patkotak find something more worthwhile in Sky Mall?
