Top-seeded Dimond dispatched fifth-seeded Chugiak, 7-2, at Ben Boeke Arena, and third-seeded South rallied and knocked off second-seeded Service, 3-1, at the McDonald Center in Eagle River.
All four teams have already qualified for next week's state tournament in Wasilla. The CIC championship game and tonight's consolation match between Service and Chugiak determine seeding for the teams at state.
Dimond beat South when the teams first met in November, but Dimond needed to rally for a 4-3 OT win Jan. 24, when it scored in the last minute of regulation to force extra time.
Thursday, undefeated and regular-season CIC champion Dimond handled Chugiak for the third time this season.
Daniel Roberts led the charge with two goals and an assist, and Solomon Mabry and Ben Heafer each delivered one goal and one helper. Josh Larson, Lucas Dubie and Tyler Thompson also furnished goals, and defenseman Mason Anderson chipped in two assists. Taylor Sleater stopped 12 shots for the Lynx.
Josh Smith and Tyler Painter scored Chugiak's goals, and Joe Lindquist stopped 34 shots.
South beat Service for the second time in less than a week -- the Wolverines beat the Cougars 5-3 on Saturday to avenge a 8-2 Service win back in November.
Thursday, South trailed 1-0 through two periods -- Service's Jeremy Smith scored in the second period -- and still trailed by that margin with less than six minutes to go when Kody Frantz forged a 1-1 tie.
Just 58 seconds later, Daniel Sandstrom scored unassisted to give South a 2-1 lead, and Gage Mackie's empty-net goal with 31 seconds to go cemented the Wolverines' victory.
Ben Sandoval made 20 saves for South and Service's Angus Klancher stopped 23 shots.
