Police issue appeal for help in Koenig abduction

Anchorage Police issued this statement on Monday afternoon in connection with the case Samantha Koenig, the 18-year-old who police say was abducted from a Midtown coffee stand.

Detectives working the Samantha Koenig abduction case are requesting that anyone who may have been in the parking lot of the Alaska Club at 630 East Tudor Road, between the hours of 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM on 2-1-12 contact them. Anyone passing by on Tudor Road or frequenting neighboring businesses that may have seen anything suspicious in that time frame should contact detectives as well.

Further updates will be forth coming as more information is released by detectives.
