Rhoades buried five 3-pointers on his way to 22 points for Eagle River and Marciniak responded with four 3-pointers and 20 points for South.

The Wolves used a big second quarter to take command of the game, outscoring their hosts 17-5 for an 18-point halftime lead.

Eagle River got a boost from Chris Parker (15 points) and Kevin Waterman (12), while South's Louis Page led all scorers with 22 points.

Dimond 52, West 38

A big third quarter lifted Dimond past West 52-38 in a CIC game Friday at Dimond, where the Lynx used a 25-5 advatnage in the third quarter to prevail.

Colter Lasher poured in 17 points, Luke Adams chipped in 14 and Ryden Hines 11 for Dimond, which held a slim 22-19 halftime lead. Kendal Brown led all scorers with 19 for West.

Homer 49, Grace 34

Dyllan Day's 13 points led a balanced scoring attack Friday in Homer's 49-34 victory over Grace Christian in Homer's Winter Carnival tournament. Homer outscored Grace 30-15 in the second half.

Luke Offord topped the Grizzlies with 10 points.

Colony 51, Chugiak 48 OT

Colony hit five of six free throws in overtime while limiting Chugiak to a single field goal to eke out a 51-48 nonconference win Friday in Palmer.

Tim Smith and Damian Fulp each hit two free throws and Nate Umbarger sank one of two attempts for the Knights, who squandered a 38-30 third-quarter lead to send the game into overtime.

Skyler Fullmer led all scorers with 19 points for Chugiak, which led 21-15 at the half only to surrender the lead in the third quarter. Hunter Eisenhower topped Colony with 13 points and Fulp added 11.
