The drive to the Valley would not be shorter and who would use a toll bridge if they did not have to? This is a poor project for Anchorage's future and should not considered a viable option for expansion.

I was born in Anchorage, I like it here and I will continue to live here. Some projects for the future do not make sense. The Knik Arm bridge would be a massive waste of money. Why destroy one of Anchorage's oldest neighborhoods just to benefit the few people in the Valley who might use the bridge?
