Three people walked away with minor injuries after a small plane flipped while landing on the ice of Lake Hood in Anchorage.
KTUU-TV says the accident happened shortly after 7 p.m. Monday.
The pilot told KTUU he was unaware there was unplowed snow on the ice. He said as the Cessna 182 touched down, snow began to fly over the nose of the plane and it flipped.
Airport officials say the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate.
