Dimond basketball remains perfect

The Dimond boys and girls basketball teams have yet to lose a game in Cook Inlet Conference play this season -- both teams own 12-0 records and sit firmly in first place.

The Dimond boys kept their streak alive with a 65-60 win over defending state champion Bartlett last week. The Dimond girls have won their last three games by at least 30 points, most recently rolling over Bartlett 84-25.

The Service boys (10-2) also picked up a win against Bartlett last week and followed with a 58-57 win over East to move into second place. The second-place West girls (9-3) are riding a three-game winning streak.
