In response to the letter "Squeezing the streets" (Feb. 21) and the one from Pete Rasher, "Thanks a lot for one-lane roads" (Feb. 22), I couldn't agree more. I live off of O'Malley and we have only one way out. I can't see more than 20 feet in either direction and have to nose my car out on O'Malley, with a speed limit of 50 mph, so every time I go to work I risk getting broadsided. I've had quite a few close calls. My heart is racing when I approach O'Malley.
How many cars have to be creamed before something is done about this? God forbid there be a fire on our street, because there is absolutely no way a fire truck could navigate through it.
