Skier Sadie Bjornsen takes fifth in Turkey

Anchorage skier Sadie Bjornsen of the Alaska Pacific University nordic program took fifth Thursday in a Women's 10-kilometer classic race at the U23 World Championships in Erzurum, Turkey. Bjornsen's time of 29 minutes, 55.1 seconds was less than six seconds off the second-place time.

Noah Hoffman was the top finisher for the U.S. Ski Team, earning a silver medal in the men's 15-K classic race.
