Paul Olson has been named a new Anchorage Superior Court judge.
Gov. Sean Parnell made the announcement Thursday. There are three vacancies at the Anchorage court. Judge Sharon Gleason was named to the U.S. District Court bench, and the Legislature created two new judge positions.
The governor's office says in a release that Olson has served as a district court judge in Anchorage since 2010 and has practiced law in Alaska for 34 years.
