March 23, 2012

Charlie Lamb led a group of eight Junior 4 skiers from Alyeska Ski Club last weekend, notching three top-10 finishes at the Inter-Mountain Division Championship at Brundage Mountain Resort in McCall, Idaho. Lamb took second in a giant slalom, fourth in a new event called Kombi, which blends giant slalom and super-G, and he was fifth in a slalom race to lead the Alaska boys.

April Ingrim led Alaska's girls with a 10th-place finish in Kombi and a 20th-place finish in a giant slalom. Zoe Hancock finished 25th to lead the girls in a slalom.
