KENAI -- The Sportsman's Warehouse store in Soldotna is temporarily closed because of damage to the ceiling uncovered after snow was removed from the roof last week.
The Peninsula Clarion reports that employees were preparing for work Monday when they noticed the ceiling was bulging and some of the sprinkler heads were pushed down several inches.
Maintenance personnel discovered at least one damaged structural beam pushing down on the store's sprinkler system. It isn't known whether the damage occurred before or after the snow was removed.
