WASILLA -- Alaska State Troopers say a 61-year-old man was charged with drug and weapons misconduct counts after a search warrant was served at a Wasilla home.

Troopers say Wayne D. Jones was arrested late Tuesday morning at the home. Troopers say they found a marijuana grow operation with 39 live plants.

They say Jones had been convicted of a felony and that officers found three firearms at the home, including a handgun.

Jones was jailed at Mat-Su Pretrial Facility with bail set at $5,000.
