JUNEAU -- A man accused of child sex abuse is scheduled to go on trial in early September.

The Juneau Empire says 37-year-old Joshua David Burger was charged with 100 counts of sexual abuse of a minor nearly one year ago.

Juneau Superior Court Judge Philip Pallenberg dismissed the 100-count indictment, and on Tuesday re-scheduled the trial to begin in early September.

Burger was re-indicted last week on four counts of sex abuse of a minor.
