Kodiak city worker to retire after nearly 40 years

KODIAK -- The only parks and recreation director the city of Kodiak has ever had is planning to retire this year.

Ian Fulp says he is planning to depart in September. He will have put in 39 years and two weeks as a city employee.

KMXT says Fulp is the longest-serving Kodiak city employee.
