Homer got goals from six players Thursday to remain undefeated with a 6-1 home victory over Houston. Lennart Von Schlichting, Robin Glosser, Konstantin Reutov, Mario Glosser, Grant Arseneau and Burl Tonga scored for the Mariners (5-0-2).
Houston (1-7) avoided the shutout when Cody Lipse scored in the final minute of play.
Grace 1, Palmer 0
A goal from Josh Thomas was enough to give Grace Christian a 1-0 win over Palmer in a boys soccer match at Anchorage Football Stadium on Thursday.
Grace's Matt Hatter set up Thomas with a header in the 26th minute. Goalie Bryce Rodgers made some solid saves to earn a shutout and help Grace improve to 4-1-2.
